Client eligibility rests on several factors related to our guests’ safety and comfort.
We do not recommend clients use our hyperbaric chamber in Greenwich if they:
- Have a collapsed lung, also known as pneumothorax
- Have lung disease that may increase the risk of a collapsed lung, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), cystic fibrosis, or emphysema
- Have a fever or a cold
- Recently had an ear injury that may increase the risk of barotrauma, such as middle ear infections or Eustachian tube dysfunction
- Are currently pregnant
Additionally, guests who have recently undergone ear surgery or have medical implant devices may not be eligible for the hyperbaric chamber.
If you are unsure, you can schedule a complimentary consultation with a SUMA Life House specialist.
